hello prayer warriors, 1. prayer note: in line with His workmanship [Ephesians 2:10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Praise God that He had a great plan for us when we were formed by His hands while we are in our mother's womb. We are His workmanship. So, when He speaks to us, many times it is in line with His gifts and His talents that He has given us throughout time, or how He has shaped us through our experiences. Romans 12:6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. 1 Timothy 4:14-15 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you. 15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. As God shapes us, He tells us and He shows us what He is doing in our lives. I remember that I liked music instantly when I first heard the musical organ being played by my cousin sister. My father saw my interest and he bought me one for me without telling me. After that I had lessons for a while and played. One day, I remember sitting behind someone playing the piano and wishing that I could play like that person. I thought I heard God's rhema word telling me that I will. My heart leapt for a while. I'm not playing the instrument in my church now, even though I've done that before in my previous church, but sometimes I play in my cell group. God has blessed me with this instrument so that I can worship Him on my own in my room. So, when God tells us something it is usually in line with how He has shaped us all the while. If we hear God telling us something that we feel is against the grain of our being or what we like, we've really got to seek God and seek confirmation from others. We also need to not learn to not just jump in to something because a prophecy was given. Maybe God is still shaping us for the task. 2. New prayer requests: i. our hopes and dreams -- susankayphillips My husband and I have been trying to conceive for approximately 7 years. We've experienced 2 miscarriages that left us heart-broken. Now further problems arise with my system. After battling a thyroid disease and radiation, my system is not responding to medication. I ask for your prayers in healing and an uplifting of faith. We also ask that you pray for the blessing of children in our lives. If God allows-allow ken and jody to reconcile placing God in the middle of this relationship to glorify Him. Pray that Ken stops looking to other women,alcohol,and pornography to satisfy his desires. We have both made some pretty big mistakes in our 9 years of being married. We have 2 beautiful children and I want us to overcome our differences and work toghether to make our marriage work.
