| please pray for me and my family. my husband and i have been married for almost 4 years and have two children. to make a long story short a lot of things have happened and we are now contemplating divorce. i has sought the advise of an attorney but have not filed. i do not trust my husband and don't feel that i can live with that. he has said that the only reason he is with me is because of the children. my head is telling me to get out now but my heart feels for my children and honestly i'm scared. please pray that i can receive some direction. | |

In response to your e-mail, I just wanted you to know that I've been down that road however without children. Since I was brought up into a Christian home that focussed on marriage as a life long commitment, not only did I feel that I had let my family down but the main person that held me together and that is the Lord. The Lord speaks about divorce in the book of Matthew and frowns upon it except in the case of adultery and abuse. It is also mentioned in the book of Romans. Lean on the Lord for direction and He will direct your paths - Trust in the LORD. |
