hello susan,
[Proverbs 6:31]
30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
I've heard a message from Pastor Joseph Prince, someone in his congregation approached him and asked him why God allowed them to go through a miscarriage. He prayed about this and seeked God for an answer and he had this revelation, which I will share with you.
Whatever the devil steals from you, God will restore you sevenfold. What does that mean? It is not the number of children that you will have, but the quality of the child that you will have. David lost his first child with Bathsheba. What was David's reaction?
[1 Kings 12:19-20]
19 But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.
20 Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the Lord, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.
David went and he worshipped God.
[1 Kings 12:24]
24 And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the Lord loved him.
David worshipped God and out of this worship, God gave him Solomon, who according to the bible was the wisest man alive in the Old Testament.
Believe that God will restore and worship Him and let him send both of you a child out of worship and trust and faith.
Father in heaven,
I lift up Susan into your hands. Lord, I know that You are a God who knows the desires of our hearts and honours the desires of our hearts. Your plans for us are far beyond what we can ever comprehend and Lord, we just want to relax and trust in Your timing and in Your providence. I pray that Susan and her husband will not lose heart, but Lord that through all these, they will have perseverance and their hope in You will endure and be even stronger. I pray that you heal Susan of whatever physical problems that she is having. You are God our creator and nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible for You.
I lift them up into Your loving hands.
In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
[Romans 5:3-4]
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
