Hello prayer warriors, 1. Prayer note: face to face [Genesis 32:30-31] And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh. Jacob wrestled with God and had to finally yield when his own physical strength was broken, when God touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh and broke it. What did Jacob say when he looked back at his experience of brokenness? He called the place Peniel: for he has seen God face to face. That's what happens when we go through our experiences when we feel that our strength is exhausted and we think that we can't go on any more. If we stop depending on our own strength and yield to God, we will look back and call our brokenness experience Peniel, because there we have seen God face to face. And what happened when Jacob finally yielded? The sun rose over him. God showed him a brighter tomorrow. 2. Prayer update: i. update on Jack (URGENT) -- 1111 Little Jack has had a couple of major setbacks. His infections have gotten worse, and they now have found out that he has "golden staff". He has had to be put onto the respirators to help him breathe. He has an inflammed throat where the tubes are going down his throat. If the v/v in his heart does not close in the next couple of days, they will have to open up his heart and stitch it close as the blood is bypassing his lungs.
