Hello prayer warriors, 1. Prayer note: having more than enough [2 Corinthians 8:9] For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. The Greek word for "rich" here is "plousios" which means: wealthy, abounding in material resources. Some of us prefer to take the spiritual sense of the word "rich". Why can't we take God's word as it is? [Ephesians 3:20] Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (NIV) I just heard a tape by Dr. John Lim. He said that we will reap the fruits of what we believe and submit to. If we submit to the natural truth and what we see and experience in our lives, we will reap the fruits of natural events and what we see. If we submit to a higher truth, which is what God's Word says, we will reap the fruits of the Word of God. To have more than enough, we need to submit ourselves first to the Word of God and stand on the Word of God. It starts with the renewing of our mind and believing that God does not want us to suffer from poverty. He wants to prosper us so that we can be a blessing to others. It starts by believing His truth and submitting ourselves to the ultimate truth and not yielding to the what we see or experience now. How do we believe His Word? By confessing it over our lives and over our situation until our spirit man absorbs this reality and the natural truth aligns itself to the spiritual truth. 2. New prayer requests: i. pray for deliverance for my husband -- woodchuck Dear Friends, Please pray for my husband, he has been addicted to drugs, alcohol, and pornography for ten years. He is also bisexual and has bipolar disorder. He also cuts himself. I am concerned about the influence that this is causing on our 7 year old daughter, Jamie. My husband and I are seperating, and I am taking Jamie with me. All of my brothers and sisters families as well as mine are having marriage troubles, kid troubles and financial troubles. I really don't have any family here in chicago. It's not that I moved, they have. I found myself living with friends, who really don't live their lives the way I would. I am prided on working hard, paying my bills, and taking good care of my two year old child. but sometimes you have to go with the flow. So a situation happen where I was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and was arrested for felony. Mind you I have never been in trouble so it came as a big surprise to find myself behind bars, yes one of the individuals was with me, but my focus was my son and getting out of there. I prayed, every minute, I was released after twelve hours with a felony on my record. I went to court and out of fear of being lock up pleaded guity to a crime I did not commit. Now I have to serve 24 months probation and now my career plans are a mess. I want to become a special education teacher, who is going to let a felon teach. I will never be able to get another job because I have a record. I can't find an apartment. all I have is my beautiful son, and my faith that somehow someway things are going to get better. Prayer update: i. Perfect health for my mom -- waihun Thank you so much for praying for my mom. She went for her lymph node operation last week and we just received the report that the nodes are negative. Praise God! Thank you again for standing in the gap. Continue to lift her up spiritually. She is still praying to the idols and not submitting to God completely. I believe that this spiritual bondage will be broken soon with our prayers. Thanks again. 4.
