Please Pray for my Spiritual Growth

I am asking for all that are willing to please Pray for me for my Spiritual Growth. I want to learn all I can. I want to become stronger for God. Please if anyone has scripture that talks about forgiveness. I want to become a better person. I believe that God is such an awesome God I want to have as much knowledge as I can before I go on to Heaven. Thank You. God I also ask this in your Precious Name. AMEN

Hi Kate706!

I just said a prayer for you. I am a "baby" Christian myself and I think I have a clear understanding of what you're going through =) Just want to share with you a few words from Oswald Chambers' book -- My Utmost for His Highest: "Sometimes it's not the difficulty of life but the drudgery of it that makes me think God will forsake me. When there is no major difficulty to overcome, no vision from God, nothing wonderful or beautiful -- just the everyday activities of life -- do I hear God's assurance even in these?
...We have the idea that God is going to do some exceptional thing--that He is preparing and equipping us for some extraordinary work in the future. But as we grow in His grace we find that God is glorifying Himself here and now, at this very moment. If we have God's assurance behind us, the most amazing strength becomes ours, and we learn to sing, glorifying Him even in the ordinary days and ways of life."
Scripture says: "He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you'" -- Hebrews 13:5

Have a great day, sis!

Hello Kate706:

I have prayed for you today. It is good to know that you have the desire to know more of the LORD. I used to have a weak faith in the LORD but HE has allowed me to grow in my spiritual life. HOW???

1. By continually studying HIS words in the Bible.

2. Regularly attend a Bible Study group where you can share your thoughts and wisdom.

3. Regularly attend Sunday School if you can.

4. Pray without ceasing, even if it seems like it is not being heard. GOD hears all our prayers but it doesn't mean that when we pray we get answers. Sometimes GOD's answer is NO and HE has a good purpose for this. Sometimes HE wants us to wait for the right time. In short, GOD works all the time even if HE doesn't seem to! Don't be deceived by thinking that prayers are not answered 'coz THEY ARE!

Here are some Scriptures about forgiveness:(But there are many more in the Bible)

1John1:9 " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

Isaiah1:18 "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD . "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

Numbers14:20 "The LORD replied, "I have forgiven them, as you asked."

Psalm130:4 "But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared."

Matt26:28 "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."

Acts13:38 "Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you."

Eph1:7 "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace."

Heb9:22 "In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness."

May you be enlightened with GOD'S WORDS as you continue to strive to draw closer to HIM. BE STRONG IN THE LORD!
