Hi groadsmom,
When you pray, pray believing that you will receive because we have a good God and He provides. I know sometimes this is more difficult to do than it seems but we have to arise and just receive and rejoice. I believe that God will take care of you because He has promised that He will care for us when we cast ALL our cares on Him.
I recently just read [1 Samuel 1:18] and it tells me the response of a woman who has been without child for so long receiving God's word in faith. The child came later.
I heard a message by Marilyn Hickey on thanksgiving. She said that when we enter into thanksgiving, we enter into grace, the supernatural enabling of God.
This was exactly what Jonah did before he got his breakthrough. He was in the belly of the fish for so long, but when he started to sacrifice unto God with a voice of thanksgiving, he got his breakthrough.
[Jonah 2:9-10]
But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord. And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
That is why it is called sacrifice of praise and sacrifice of thanksgiving. Sometimes, we have to offer this as a sacrifice especially when it is really hard.
I will rejoice with you because I know that you will receive your breakthrough because He is a good God.
Father in Heaven,
I lift up this lovely woman to You. Teach us O Lord how to react in adversity and still arise and shout with a loud voice and proclaim Your victory. I claim victory in her life because You have given us victory at the cross. We come against every kind of hindrance in her life and ask for special favour and wisdom. You are a miracle worker and You are our provider and I thank You for Your provision in her life.
Thank You Lord. We receive all these even now in Jesus' mighty Name, Amen.
