        Faithfulness in Ministry
 
I've heard Edwin Cole ask: "Is this true?

The bible says
And the things you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to able men who will be faithful to teach others also."

I remembered a lot of us saying "Amen", when Edwin Cole quickly corrected us and said

[2 Tim 2:2]
And the things you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

He said the most important thing about a man's character is faithfulness. God is able to give us the abilities when we are faithful.

So, when we are working on our ministries, let us remember to build our ministries through faithfulness.

      Acts 8:26   
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

(Acts talks about two great men of God, Stephen and Philip. Philip and Stephen were both called to serve the widows in [Acts 6]. Because of their faithfulness, we can see how God has used them mightily later on to minister to other people.)
