Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.  

There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.  

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.  

And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the Lord hath commanded;  

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.  

And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. [verse 3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
