Is there any thing that you are NOT supposed to do or that are considered as sins, when you are with your spouse intimatly?? I hope you can understand the question without great details!!

And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.

So the story goes that God kills the man, but it is debated why he did so. From what I know though, sex is only for procreation, anything that gets in the way of that(condom, birth control, or in this case- spilling his seed) is seen as wrong.
