5)But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.
6)Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
7)So that contrariwise ye ought to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
8)Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
9)For to this end also did I write, that I might know the pfoof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
10)To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also; for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
11)Lest Satan should get an advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. 

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. 

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
