   General Questions:
        Are Apostles still functioning today?

Ephesians 4:11-13 states that Jesus gave to the Church - Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, to equip the saints for works of service until we all come into the unity of the faith...

Are these still functional or have they ceased? What are your views?

Look at this biblically.

(1 Cor 12:28-29) and (Eph 4:11) clearly lists apostles as one of the ministries a church requires to operate.

Here's the question.
Is the Holy Spirit we have today the same Holy Spirit the first century church had?
Definitely.

Does He still work on, in, and with the Church (perceived as the absolute sum of all believers as a single body, NOT individual buildings)

Now, if the gift of apostle was given out by that same Spirit, and that Spirit hasn't changed, and His works still continue, it stands to reason that the same Gifts are still given out today. Including the gift of apostleship.
