        Troubled by thoughts?

Hey guys, I seriously need help. :( What if one thinks about God all the time, then suddenly the temptation of saying something against Him comes up, but through my thoughts? Then sometimes, you happen to think somethig bad but don't really mean it? Waaahhh.. :( And how does one attain the peace God grants? Sorry for disturbing you guys.

First, you need to realize that even heroes in the Bible experienced temptation. You are not alone. For example, Abraham was the father of the faithful, but he lied to the Kind of Egypt for fear that his wife would be taken from him. Moses was the meekest man alive yet he spote the rock in anger. Elijah was a man of courage, but he fled from Jezebel. And David was a man after God's own heart, but he murdered a man.

Second, the Bible provides the answer to how to deal with temptation.

Luke 22:40
On reaching the place, he said to them, "Pray that you will not fall into temptation."

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Hebrews 2:18
Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The Bible also has a promise for those who endure: James 1:12-16 - Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

      re:Tubes tied
[I Corinthians 5:7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.

[Psalm 103:12] As fas as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our trangressions from us.

From the book 'Gleanings in Exodus' by Arthur Pink - 'An Israelite might have selected a proper lamb, he might have slain it, but unless he had applied its blood to the outside of the door, the Angel of Death would have entered his house and slain his firstborn. In like manner today, it is not enough for me to know that the precious blood of the Lamb of God was shed for the remission of sins. A saviour provided is not sufficent: he must be received. There must be "faith in His blood" [Romans 3:25], and faith is a personal thing. I must exercise faith. I must by faith take the blood and shelter beneath it. I must place it between my sins and the thrice Holy God. I must rely upon it as the sole ground of my acceptance with Him.'

If God is calling you to reverse your tube tying because he wants you to have another child, than that is what you should.

On the other hand, if you are desiring this because of guilt, you are not applying the blood of Jesus to your past.

Whether tying your tubes is against God's principals or not, what you've done is done. Rest in your salvation & God's forgiveness of your sins & rejoice in his love for you.
