Amen to all of the above!!! Trials have been my shadow for a very long time but there were truely things I learned from this. Most of my trials have been in my marriage, and God has truely been there to show me what I really needed to learn, and to help me get through all this. God bless you as you grow and learn. 

[1 Corintians 10:13] It talks about trials and testings that God allows to teach us what we could not learn otherwise, but we have this promise that the testing would never be more than that which we are able to bare.

In 1 Corinthians 10:13, it talks about temptations, which can also be translated, "adversity," alowed to come into our lives to test us. To see what kind of metal we are made of. But God will not test us with more than we are able to bare. HE provides the way out, or brings it to an end. I've found that every trial I've been in that God is indeed faithful to bring me through. And there was always a lesson to learn that could not have been learned any other way. i.e. heart knowledge.
