   General Questions:
        Test or Sign??

In scripture it seems as though it is wrong to test God. Is this a true statement? If so, is it wrong to ask God for a sign? Thanks for the help!

[Acts 1:26] is the last reference of anybody asking God for a sign. After that, they relied upon the Holy Spirit for guidance. The Lord taught me that by asking Him for a sign (which I did a bunch at the beginning) meant that I did not trust Him to do what He had promised. And He was right, I did not trust Him, I found it very hard to believe that He was willing to do anything for me.
Yes I do believe that Jesus will give you a sign when you need it, as in my case. He comes to us where we are at. At the time, I did not know better. Know, I just go on believing God, and pray that He will reveal to me the signs that he is showing me ([Mark 16:20])

I don't think it is wrong to question the sovereignty of God. If you do, your faith in him will only grow. You will find out quickly that he everything the bible says he is. As for testing him, as in asking for a sign. What more of a sign do you need than the proficy fulfilled by Jesus Christ. You could spend the rest of your life studying the proficy fulfilled. As one example:
Ge 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee (satan) and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel

How about Jesus on the cross being put into the ground on the hill called the place of a skull. His heal bruised the head when jesus saved us all.

Mark 15:22 And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.
