General Questions: radical.... |
What steps do I need take to have that awesome and radical relationship with God in a way that if I was to suffer persecution I could stand firm and true without trouble? Where are some good Bible passages for me to read to help me get so close to God that people who see me, see that I am different and have something, someone, alive in me? Thanks for the help! | |

[2 Peter 1:5-8] is a good place to start. (I like the NIV version) Also, you might want to look at [Ephesians 4:17-32] where Paul talks about "putting off" the old man and "putting on" the new man. And in [Ephesians 6:10-20] Paul talks about putting on the whole armor of God and praying for boldness. [Romans 5:3-8], [James 1],[Philippians 2:5-16], [Philippians 3:8-16], and[Philippians 4:4-8] are good too. Also, if you're up for a good study, "Experiencing God" by Henry Blackaby is an excellent one about building a relationship with God. |
