        Body as a temple

I am almost positive that there is a reference to the body being treated as a temple of God, but I can't find/remember where, can anyone help me please....thank you!

Try [1 Corinthians 6:19]. Many commentators will try to use this to prove that drug use, lack of exercise, and other such things are sinful, but this is a misinterpretation. Paul here is referring to the collective church. For one, the pronoun is singular, and even if your translation does not distinguish between singular (thy) and plural (your,) you can tell because he is addressing the Corinthians. Additionally, if he meant individual bodies, he would have used the plural, but instead, it speaks of "your body." It's a case of the right conclusion with improper reasoning; our individual bodies, though, are described in [1 Corinthians 6:15], (see also [Romans 12:1],) from which the conclusion still arises. [1 Corinthians 12] utilizes this analogy heavily.
