   General Questions:
The Holy Ghost or the The Holy Spirit?

Hi!

I am Michelle. I am new here and I noticed something, I have read that The Holy Spirit, should never be recognized as the Holy Ghost cause HE is not a Ghost, yet when I look in [Acts 2:38], I see, "....and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost",ok then I hope this make sense, thanks for any help on this.

Hi Michelle,

Both "Holy Ghost" and "Holy Spirit" are correct, but "Holy Spirit" is preferred today for the reason that you gave. Similarly, in [Acts 2:38] newer versions of the Bible have "Holy Spirit" rather than "Holy Ghost."
