Prayer Requests: Prayer needed for a friend's daughter |
I am concerned for a friend's daughter. The name of my friends daughter is Becky. She is young, about 24 and she has two sons ages 5 and 2. Becky has never been married to either father though both men were abusive to her and her children have suffered through witnessing the physical abuse and fighting. It seems that Becky has very low self esteem and has a pattern of choosing abusive men. Becky's parents have always been very loving and supportive and are strong Christians, but they are at their wits end. I ask that you pray for Becky, for her children, for her parents and also for current boyfriend who is also abusive. Especially pray for salvation for Becky and her boyfriend. | |

Lord I bring Becky and her children to you and pray Lord that you would cover them with your blood. Father, I pray that you would open Becky's eyes to see you clearly and soften her heart that she may receive you. Father I also pray for this man, Lord I pray that he would not be abusive towards Becky and I also claim his salvation in your precious name. Lord, I also lift Becky's parents to you and pray that you would strengthen them to-day. Fill them with your love and joy and peace. Thank you Father |

Lord, I come to you tonight and lift up Becky. We all know that it is not your will that any of your children be abused. I pray that you send one of your servants to Becky who will minister to her and help her to believe that she has value in your eyes and that she does not have to accept abuse. Please remove all of the abusers from her life, and I pray a hedge of your protection around her that they cannot hurt her anymore. I also pray that you send a young man to her that will respect and love her the way you love her. I also lift up those children to you that they will be healed from the emotional trauma of seeing their mother abused. I ask you all of this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who is Lord forever. Amen |
