 Prayer Requests:I need to turn a test into a testomony

| My story is long so just hang in PLEASE!
I found a church home this past October1999. It was a new high for me. I was not raised in a church and never knew what the Lord could really do. Here my story onAug1st. I moved 665 miles away from my family,My church and most of our friends. We moved to be close to another set of friends. I thought we could help them out. Which we did. I cooked 2 dinners for my family and there, I bought them food, I bought there kids some school item, there daughter some clothes and shoes. I knew money would be tight for us but I knew they were going with out and I wanted to help.On Aug 28 my friends that we moved here with desided They did not want to speak to my family anymore over a free magazine I sent them. Hurt and pretty confused I just prayed about it and put in the Lords hands.We left behind a few bills that I thought we would just pay later and now there is no way.So moving back would be like giving up and if we did no one would give us Elec,Gas or phone.. Trying to make it work here, New to this area I have been to a few churches but have not found one that is like my church home. I go and sit and think it borning and try another church again next week. My husband took a pay cut that has inturned hit us hard, and I've told no one that we have lost our car as a result.And bounced our rent check twice. I have taken up baby sitting for extra cash. I try to keep it together and read my bible but it gets hard. I miss going to church. I need that boost that it gives me, I miss that feeling.My church back home trys to send me the service on tape,but they send me one or two tapes every few weeks.. I know there are others that have bigger problems than mine. But I ask for you to pray for my family. Pray for my husband. I know the lord has a plan for us but I hope I did not mess ours up by moving. My children like it here and I'm starting to make new friends. This week my husband will turn in a resume to another company please pray for him.. I have a pile of bills that have to be paid pray that the money will be there. I thank you for reading my letter. I'm trying to turn my test into a positive testomony but its hard! God Bless you |

Dear Lord... As wee keep praying for this family please bless them with all your wisdom, strength, love. Please show them your plans and purposes.. Please oh Holy Spirit be a comfort to those with out church family.. Please fill them with the love. let them not be lonely during this holiday time.. |

Dear Lord, I lift up this person and her family to you. Please help them and guide them during this new chapter in their lives. Lord, I pray that you would guide them to the vocations you desire for them, I pray that you would take control of their finances and guide them as to how to spend their money, guide them with their outreach to others, give them a strong sense of what money, articles etc. they should give away and what they need to keep for themselves for their own well being. Lord, I pray that you would especially help them with their finances, guide them to find a way to pay their over due bills, bills from their pervious residences as well as their current. Lord, I also pray strongly for their family, keep them together as a strong family unit during this trying time, help them to look to you as a family unit and do not allow the enemy to use this hard time to damamge their family unit. I pray that they will find a church family that you desire for them. Lord, just pout your blessings out among this family and let your comfort and restoring powers flow out upon them. In Jesus name Amen |
