   Prayer Requests:
        Prayer for Ethan

Ethan is my son, he's 7 years old and has Autism. Please pray that he continues to make progress in school and that his vocabulary increases. Also that we might know the best way to teach him.

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. May you, Lord always be before them. You are at their right hand and they will not be shaken. Let her hold unnswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. Your word says-All your sons will be taught by the Lord, and great will be your children's peace. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanidng; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Thank you Lord for You are good; Your love endures forever. The Lord is her strength and her shield; her heart trusts in Him, and she is helped. The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made. Her heart will leap for joy and she will give thanks to Him in song. Thank you, Lord, for your grace and for your love. May she give You thanks forever.

Father,

I come before you and thank you for this beautiful child, Ethan, that You have given to his mom, Beth. Lord, we know that children are blessings from you.

[Psalms 127:3-5]

3 Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth.
5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Father, we pray for You to grant wisdom to Beth to bring Ethan up with Your wisdom. Lord, I also pray for Your hand and Your grace to be upon Ethan that he will grow up to be a mighty man of God.

In Jesus' Name, I pray AMEN.

Beth,

[2 Corinthians 5:7]
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

I believe that our God is still a worker of miracles, and Pauline is right, wait on God's timing but continue to believe by faith that He is healing Ethan and claim that healing from God every day.

Father,
place your loving hands on young Ethan. He has your gifts Lord, the ones others take for granted, help him to find the means to use them, and to look outwardly at the world.

And Lord, grant Ethan's family and teacher's patience. Waiting can be difficult, and sometimes we don't acknowledge your timing ... that your miracles might not happen when we want them to... they happen at a specific time, for a specific reason, which we don't always understand.

Watch over Ethan Lord, don't let the young and uncertain stray from your flock. Guide him safely in your Light.

For your glory,
Amen

Beth:
I look after a 6 yr old with autism. Remember that Autism is not something that HAS Ethan, it is WITH him. Ethan's mind, will and spirit are stronger than it's grasp. God holds people like Ethan close to His heart, and gives them the strength to endure (what other people expect of them)and gives them them insight to life and His Love (something we often forget or don't use).

Children like Ethan are given far less credit than they deserve, and often when they don't seem to 'learn' what we teach, it is because they haven't found the medium, the motivation or they just aren't ready. These children, live, love and learn in productive lives, and often see, feel and learn things we don't take the time to experience.

Sister, feel free to email me. You have my prayers and suport. God Bless You.
