Father,
I pray for this man. I pray Father that as he rests in you and reads your Word, you would do the work that you so desire to do in his life.
Fill him to overflowing with your Spirit that he may be on fire for you and also burn in the lives of each of us that we all may be effective witnesses for you here on earth.

Do not strive too much. Rest in God's love and He will do the rest. Trust me. 

Lord, I pray that you will fill him with your spirit and a love for you. Let him grow according to your perfect will.

You know I went through the same life-cleaning process that you are going through, and although it seemed difficult at the time, when I actually got rid of the stuff I needed to get out of my life I felt free. I didn't realize how much I was in bondage to that stuff until it was gone. The Lord doesn't ask that we remove some things out of our life for HIS benefit, He asks it with OUR best interests at heart. So be encouraged, dear heart, it seems difficult now, but you will be smiling tomarrow. The Lord understands what you are going through, and He is there right beside you every step you take.

Dear Jesus, I just pray right now for your precious child, that You would pour Your anointing into this person's life. I ask that You would reveal new things about Yourself to Your child, and that Your relationship would be "closer than a brother!" I pray that all his or her needs would be met right now in the name of Jesus. Spiritually, Emotionally, and Physically. Thank You Lord, for always being there for us in any situation. Amen.
