   Prayer Requests:
        Depression.

I am a mother of three boys, aged 3, 5 and 7, and have had postnatal depression since the first. This has damaged my relationship with God, and with my family, and has left me feeling very isolated. At the moment I'm finding it hard to go to church as I feel unworthy. Everything seems locked within me, and I can't break out to contact God or to hear from Him. I need His presence and peace in my life, and I always feel I am failing Him - almost as if I'm not and never have been a 'real' Christian. I had a very real conversion experience and asked Jesus into my life about 13 years ago, but seem to have lost that connection. Please pray that God will send His spirit on me to renew my faith, set my heart alight, and help me break free of whatever is weighing me down and keeping me from God.

The Lord is faithful, and will never leave you in your time of need. My wife suffers from despression, and we rely on God's mercy and also seek his healing. I pray for your healing and humbly ask you to pray for my wife.

Dear Ellie,

God is with you always -- and if perfection is what he was originally after we could never become formed or molded into God's ultimate plan that he has for our lives. Depression is a real thing, and it comes to rob us of the real joys that life can offer us. I suggests that you pray and asks God to lead you and your family to a good church that will offer support systems for mothers. I also pray that you continue to speak and pray to the Lord even if you don't know how to quite put the words. God knows your heart and as always he is available to listen without judgement.

I know that it is difficult and can sometimes be overwhelming but this is a time for your family to learn to love and embrace you rather than judge you. We all face difficult times but sometimes what we need is "true understanding."

It is very diffifult at times when we don't get that. I pray that God will lead strong Christian people into your life and embrace you. Read your Bible and gain strength in God because Ellie believe it or not God cares for you and that's the bottom line.

Ellie, I know excactly how you feel. I was there and have been there several times. The great news is that you will come out of it even stronger than before.I think we all go through depression at one time or another. But God will take that and give you a desire to CHANGE! and when you change you will become new. When you are new you will be strong. and when you are strong. You will be a mighty vessel that God uses in a different way.I am very proud of you and God is too. YOU are a GREAT mom and a GREAT wife. He made you the way you are. He gave those children to you. JUST you . YOU are the perfect mother for THOSE children. OR he wouldn't have give them to you. Don't let the devil LIE to you. When you hear those negitive things REBUKE them, TEll SAtin he is a liar and you are not going to listen to him any more. YOU have better things to do with your life and he is just scared of you and what you can do for God. SO he wants to put you down in this depression so you won't function for God. So that means GOD has BIG plans for you and the Devil is SCARED. SO I guess we can look at this as YOU are very important to your family and your church and your community. YOU made a difference in our world and will continue to do so BECAUSE IN THE NAME OF JESUS YOU ARE HEALED OF DEPRESSION AND YOU HAVE A NEW DESIRE TO CHANGE AND DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. LOVE YOUR FAMILY, BLESS YOUR CHURCH, AND MOST OF ALL LOVE YOUR SELF BECAUSE CHRIST LOVES YOU AND GOD MADE YOU FOR A REASON AND SATIN WILL NOT TAKE THAT GIFT THAT GOD GAVE YOU AWAY.

LOVE YA , SHONDA
