| My ex-husband has always been "spotty" with my twins' child support. They will be 18 in January, but per the law, child support is supposed to continue until they graduate high school which will be in May, 2011.
My prayer to the Lord is two-fold: Most immediately, I need the child support to weekly and regular during the next 4 to 8 weeks due to critical, and I mean, CRITICAL bills that must be paid in December and January! Second, I am asking the Lord to remove my dependency on the child support as quickly as possible. For the most part I pay my car note out of the child support. This is the most important, on-going expense that the child support covers. Don't get me wrong, I could definitely use the child support to help with unexpected expenses, but by and large, the child support is needed at this point for the car note. I do not have the resources to fight him in court on this, and with his responsibility regarding the kids' child support wrapping up during the first half of next year, it doesn't seem to be the best use of what hard-earned money I do have. After this month and a couple of critical bills that have to be paid (prayer #1,) my goal and my prayer is for the Lord to completely remove my dependency on the child support, so that I can move on and put all of the worry and concern behind me and to be free of it (prayer #2.) Please pray for me and my beautiful, 17-soon-to-be-18-year-old-twins, based on the requests above. Thank you so very much! In Jesus' Name...Amen! |
