We live by faith not by sight and we pray in faith.Faith is not base in emotion or feeling just believed that God listened to your prayer.The best thing you can do is use the scripture in your prayer and claim the promise. 

Father,
I pray that Your presence shall be amplified in Susan's life here and that Your grace and blessings are made abundant in her life. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
In Jesus'name, I pray. Amen 

First may I say that I totally understand how you are feeling, and that at times I believe all Christians go through this. It is important for us to understand, however, that faith is not a feeling. Trusting that the Lord is always with you is a part of faith. While it is difficult when we "feel" that God is far away from us, He has given us his Word and His Spirit to comfort us.

I think that Psalm 22 will be a great comfort to you. In this Psalm David is struggling with feelings that God has rejected him. As you read it I hope you will see that though David feels that God is not near he continues to trust in God to deliver him.

No matter how our human feelings are, we need to remember that God is above our feelings. Feelings change, God doesn't. ;) I hope this helps you and I will be praying for you.
