   Prayer Requests:
desperately need prayer for my parents

thanks for all the e mail. I am seeking your help to pray for my parents before I do something rash to both of them. They are supposed to be christians since the 1940s, but their attitutde towards us and each other is very uncharitable. My mother always finding fault with everything while my father criticizes everything in a very loud voice. They are both in their 80s(80 & 84). They just returned home from a holiday in Canada and they complained incessantly about the oldest sister. I find that I am unable to go to church because of their attitude to me. My brothers and their wives who go to church also do not speak to me .

I still have faith in God but my heart is so heavy being surrounded by this attitude. I have had a failed marriage and i am back home because of a lack of finances. I begin a Msc degree in September to qualify for a better job. God is good to me. Seems as though I can't maintain any relationship. I recently had another failed one and it hurts really bad.

Please pray for us.
thanks

Carol's prayer request really troubled my spirit. It can be so difficult with elderly relatives. I know. I have found that the scripture "a
soft answer turns away wrath" to be oh so true. I would encourage Carol to put past relationships at the foot of the cross and concentrate on her relationship with God. That will not fail. He will not let her down. I pray that God will pour his healing balm into Carol and that she will be totally restored to relationship with Him and her family.
