Father, I pray for Mike that You will touch Him with Your immeasurable love - a love that knows no boundaries, a love that is ever present no matter how badly we have gone astray. I pray that he will cling on to You, and not let the evil one cast doubts in his mind. You have said in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 that "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." I thank You that it does not depend on how good we are. I pray that as he acknowledges his weakness, that he will also acknowledge Your almighty power and strength, and that he will rely on You, and not his own strength, to do the things that are pleasing in Your eyes. I pray that he will call on You, for You will answer everyone who calls on You.

Lord, as You fill his heart with Your love, let this love overflow that he will also love himself, his wife and son. Hear his heart cry, O Lord. I know that as we draw close to You, You will draw close to us (James 4:8).

Help him to constantly pray to You, and read Your words that he may be strengthened in You day by day. Help him to take one day at a time, and to trust You. Bring him to find Christian friends who can pray for him and help him through this. You, O God, are mighty to save and I claim Your promises for Mike.
