I'm sorry you have to go through all that. I understand how you feel, for my hubby asked for a separation a few weeks ago. It hurts terribly.
I'm reading about Job in the bible. Although he was an upright man, yet God allowed him to go through so many problems. At times, problems are not because we have not been faithful enough to God. God wanted to test Job.
We may not fully understand what is happening, but God understands what we go through. God gives us all a free will, so what your hubby did was his choice. God did not promise blue skies all the time, but He promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us. So, trust not in your own understanding, but rely on God and trust in Him. Let us pray.
Lord, You are a God who is full of wisdom and understanding. Above all, You are a God of love. Although we do not understand why things have to happen this way, Lord, I know You are hurting as well when You see Your children hurt. Comfort her, and help her to trust You. People may mock her singlehood, but Lord, You love and accept her the way she is. Help her to focus on You, and to focus on the future. Help her to look less and less to the past. Heal her hurts, and give her Your strength. Guide her through the next phase of her life, Lord.
Help us to live for You, and not for man - for man will disappoint us, but You will never leave us in the lurch.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
