Heavenly Father it special people like these that make our world a nicer place to live. Bless this unity and santify it with your Grace and Mercy. Lord I pray for the peace of the biological mother. I know that it is difficult for any mother to part with their children but for what ever reason comfort her heart and speak to her with your words. Let her know that her child will be loved and cared for. Establish now your protection upon this couple who have opened up their heart to receive this child. Rebuke any obsticles that would try to hinder this blessing from happening. Create a hedge of protection around them until the child has been placed in their care and seal this unity forever. Give wisdom to the father to guide and care for his family. Give understanding to the mother that will nurture and comfort this beautiful child and raise her as her own. Provide for their well being both physically and spiritually.
