Petrina as I read your letter my heart and soul cries out to God for you and your children. I can quote you scriptures and tell you that everything will be alright but I think your heart is crying out in pain for more than that. Petrina I believe in the power of God and I know that He is a God that has seen your life and felt the pain that you feel. We shall pray for His guidance concerning your husband, His compassion concerning the pain in your heart, His touch to change the conditions of your life and His Love to hold you in the cradle of His arms to shield you from any more hardship.

Bow your head with me as I pray for the it is written "Where there are two or three gathered in my name there AM I in the midst of them.

Father we come before your presence In The Name of Jesus. Because of your Omnipotents and Omnipresents we know that you have seen and felt the pain that Your child Patrina is facing. We ask now that You minister to her heart and give her peace. Speak to her husband Your words of wisdom and give him the strenght he needs to make a decision. We know that You will not alter anyone's will so we pray that if it is his will to come home then take him up upon Your wings and carry him to those that love him. If his will is to go and not return then touch the heart of Patrina and take the pain away. Remove the love that she has for him and replace it with a Love for Jesus Christ. Give her strenght to over come the present situation. Guide her with your Holy Spirit to establish a home for her and her children. Send Your angels to protect her and her house from dangers seen and unseen. Bring about a change in her life that she will be able to raise her children in peace. Forgive her for her doubts, renew a righteous spirit within her and give her Your wisdom and understanding.

Finally Lord we ask that you will annoint her with Your Spirit to do your work. In these times of hardship and despare we need You and Your presence to take us through. We Love you Father and Thank You for hearing and answering our prayer.

In Jesus Name We Pray
Amen

"I was young, and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken, or their children begging bread." [Psalm 37:25]

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." [I Cor 10:13]

Father, I bring Petrina to You. You are a loving and merciful God. Help Petrina to seek after You. Comfort her and give her rest. Give her Your peace, O Lord. Help her to trust in You. Help her to focus on You, and not the circumstances surrounding her.

Provide for her and her family. As she seeks after You, give Petrina a fresh sense of Your presence and the assurance that there is a way out for her. Help her to go to church to worship You, and find fellowship amongst other Christians. Cause the Christian brothers and sisters to reach out to her and her family. Cause her to know she is not alone in this, but that You are watching over her and guiding her with your invisible Hand. Only help her to continual seek You in order that she may hear Your voice and Your direction.

Help her to overcome her feellngs of hurt and pain. You, O Lord, are ever-loving and You will never desert her. Embrace her in Your love, and heal her pains, that she may have a fresh sense of purpose in her life.

Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Petrina,
Don't give up! The verse [Matthew 6:33] comes to mind while reading your post. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you." If you put God first, all the other things will fall into place. I know it may seem impossible at times in a difficult situation but if you make an effort to put God first in everything, the problems may fix themselves. Try waking up 15 mins early before work and spend time reading the Bible or praying. And maybe 15 mins before bed. Or you could even make it an activity while putting your kids to bed. I have a 4 yr old and he insists on reading from the Bible every night (& not the story version) That way you are getting your spiritual "bread" while spending time with your kids. Also in [Matthew 6:25-26] it says that God provides food and clothes for the birds so he will do the same for us. I've found if I let go of my financial worries and given them to God, he always works it out. I have litterally needed money and it has shown up in my mailbox. Once I didn't know where I was going to get $150 for a bill, and I started worrying about it and I stopped myself and prayed instead. I had a feeling come over me that said you will have it today. When I went into work, the boss walked by and put an envelope on my desk with a check for $150.
Now as for the children's father, I don't really feel qualified to give advice. I would continue praying and seek God's guidance. Make sure when you pray for an answer that you also listen for the reply. That is the hardest part for me. Even more so if God doesn't answer right away.
Also don't forget to thank God for what you do have and the blessings that he has given you. You can always start with your children :) [1 Thessalonians 5:16-18]
And some inspirational verses come from [Psalm 13:5-6] Actually the whole Psalm might be good in your situation.
Another one is [Psalm 34:4]
Lord,
I pray for Petrina and her family that you give her the strength to stand up to this trying time. I pray that you will be with her children in this tough, confusing time. Comfort them. Help meet Petrina's finacial needs, help her provide for her family. Give her guidance on what to do about her children's dad. Help him also know what to do. In Jesus' name, Amen
