What a wonderful age to continue to teach the love and hope, given by our Lord. [Matthew 18:3],
Jesus is teaching,.."And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
Although He was speaking to adults, He seemed to be telling us that the innocents and faith that a child can feel is what it requires to really "know" Him.
I have attended Calvary Chapel churches, for many years and have been a "Sunday School" teacher for different age groups. The empathsis is to share the person of Jesus Christ and to equip the children to seek Him first in all that they do and experience. A tough task in todays world.
Pray the our Lord will give you His peace about your decision and then check out the different Gospel teaching churches in your area and ask to meet the Childrens ministry director. They should be able to share their church's teaching direction.
Lord, we thank and praise You that you have shown and given us Your love for our children. I join in asking that You would show this loving parent the right place to learn of You. I pray that you will bring Your peace to this parent when the right place is found, that will instruct this child about our loving God, who first loved her. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
