I understand your desire for a wonderful, Christian to share your life with. I, also, had this prayer for my life and our Lord brought her to me. I had to learn to trust that God heard my prayer and to wait on Him to answer. This is when my patience was required. The Lord taught me that I could "anticipate" that He would answer my prayer but that I should not "expect" that the prayer was being answered because I have met and become friends with a Christian. I needed to be sure that not only she was who the Lord wanted for me but that I was who He wanted for her. The beginning of relationships are always exciting and seem right but if you stay in friendship and keep it honourable before Him, you will have confidence that you both have the Lord blessing. [1 John 3:22] "And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."
I thank You, Father, that You have such love for us and that You only want what is best for us. I join my brother's and sister's in prayer that You will ease their burden and give them Your patience to wait and see how You will answer their desire's for a spouse. You know their heart's desire and they can trust in You. [Psalms 21:2] "Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips."
