re:How Do I sow A Seed on Firm ground
[Galatians 5:17, 18] For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

[1 Peter 4:1,2] Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

God had the great plans for your life before he even created the world. Your failures will not stop God's plan.

Something to think about...

God has given you a taste of what he has for you & wants you to keep hope in what he has given you. First God gives you the promise. Then he takes you through the training ground/wilderness to equip you with the godly character you need to be able to serve him in the great way he has planned for you. When God is finished with your training, you will have no doubt in your mind that it is God that is doing great things through you & not because of you.

Look at all of the greats of the bible. They were nothing until God used them in great ways.

How does God build this character in you? Through the death of your flesh.

God brings your sin to the surface to face the light. Sin will fight with all its strength to go back into hiding. If you fight back with God's word & face your sin for what it is, repent & don't hide it, God will deliver you from the sin he is exposing. Then the seed of the Holy Spirit within you grows stronger for the next trial.

If you try to suppress the sin & hide it & try to convince yourself it's not who you really are, your flesh wins & the sin goes back into hiding, awaiting your next trial that brings it back into the light.

Each time you succeed in these tests, you will have conquered something important that cannot return. Each time a deeper root is drawn out to the light to be destroyed, the seed of the Holy Spirit within you has room to grow.

Don't beat yourself up over these trials. Satan can't succeed in taking away God's seed from you if you understand what he's trying to do & use God's tools to fight back.

Father, thank you for your sweet promise to India. I pray that you arm her sufficiently for the battles ahead & continue onward to her great victory from you. May you be glorified through her life with you. In Jesus Name.
