[Mark 12:42-44] And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

[II Corinthians 9:7] Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

What a person gives is between them & God. If you give for any other reason than that you want to give back to God, you are not going to be a cheerful giver. Give only what God puts on your heart to give. Then you will cheerfully give to God.

If you are married, your husband should decide how much you give, even if he's not a believer. If you do this God's way, he will bless you, as he has blessed me.

Hmmmm,

This seems strange that a church would do that.

Father in Heaven,

I lift up this guest's daughter to You and pray that You will find her the right church to be part of and that she will grow closer and stronger in You each day.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.
