I have prayed for your family and ask that you just continue to support and love them and pray for them. I have been in your mothers shoes and it is a tough one. Finding self esteem is difficult, but I did find it in my prayers and God has led me know that I must first forgive the hurt others have caused me in order to be happy myself and move on. Your mother will need to find this forgiveness in order to move on and find that happiness within herself first, is the most important thing she can do. Once she forgives and finds peace within in herself she will find more confidence and become less dependent on others. I found that I was dependent on others because I felt I could control my children. I have been on this site and others and found verses in which I learned to let go of control and my life is better for that now.
