| Ruth," in tremendous need of a "Naomi" to coach me through this critical, tenuous stage of what appears to be a promising relationship. I don't want to appear overbearing or controlling, and I am blessed with a very busy and fulfilling life, but communication is important to me, and I think I am seeing subtle, beginning signs of this guy -- if not pulling away -- slowing down in his pursuit of me.
I need guidance. I pray that my heart is open and responsive to the coaching of my inner "Naomi," the Holy Spirit. I also pray that this relationship with my new friend becomes what GOD wants it to be, and that ultimately it glorifies Him. I also pray that I not sabotage the relationship in any way by being insecure or overly controlling, nor that I settle for anything less than what God has in mind for me. Please pray in agreement with me...please. In Jesus' all Powerful Name, I pray. Amen! |
