God, I pray that you'll be with Your child in his/her moments of pain. We know you want us to follow, Lord, but sometimes its so much easier to follow other paths- paths of the world. Help this child to remember that You never move away, You never move. Help him/her to come back to you and to find peace and renewal in Your presence. Be in his/her heart and strengthen him/her. Help all your children to remember that you take our sins and put them behind your back- as far as the east is from the west. Help all of us remember that we come to You not on our own merits, but on the merits of Your Son. Be with us always and forever, Amen.
