Need to set free from non-christian relationship


My name is Janice Leong. Please pray for me. I am a born again christian, but i have a non-christian boyfriend. We have been very close and have commited pre-marital sex. I hope to be set free from this bondage, so I have tried to break up with him several times. But he keeps coming back to me, and he feels sadden i'm reacting this way. I want to leave him, but i could feel his sadness. That's my soft spot, and i couldn't help empathising. How can i explain to him, so that he can leave me in peace? I wish God will give me strength to be set free.

Father, I thank You that Janice wishes to honour You in the area of her relationship with a non-christian man. Yet, there is that tug of war going on in her. Forgive her, Lord, for her past sins, and give her Your supernatural strength to overcome. Help her to know that You, too, feel sad to see her unequally yoked. Help her to direct her soft spot to You, instead. Many times, a non-Christian would not understand totally the ways that You require us to walk. Lord, You, too have suffered rejection because of this. Your ways are not our ways, and Your word say not to lean on our own understanding. Help Janice to obey You in this area. Nothing is impossible with You, Lord. I thank You that You want the best for her. Help her to be an overcomer, in Your mighty strength. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
