My Daughter Turned Her Back On Me


My daughter needs all of the prayers that she can get. She is 21 years old and has no morals. She has no respect for me and told me that she does not need a mother. She says things that hurt so bad that you just want to die. I have been a very loving mother. I guess that I spoiled her too much. Now, I am paying for it. She almost never says she is sorry for hurting someone's feelings. She says "Why should I say that I am sorry? I'm not!" She shows no remorse. Last week was the worst fight that we ever had. She went to live with her father and told me that she was through with me. She said that she does not care if she goes to hell. I know that she does not mean what she says, but she is too stubborn to say that she is sorry and can I come back home. I love my daughter with all of my heart and I want her to come home. I feel that this time she needs to apoligise to me before I let her come back. I am far from perfect. My daughter hit me and cursed me. I am 50 years old and I can not give up on my child. I pray that God will open her heart and her eyes, and that she lets Jesus back into her life.

Lord, You, of all people, know how it is like to be rejected by the very people You love so much. You were even willing to die for them, despite them treating You so badly even to the point of crucifying You. Lord, give this lady a double portion of Your strength, and remove the feelings of hurt and anger. Fill her heart instead with Your love and understanding, that it will just overflow, and even drown out those hurts. Lord, You hear her cries of desperation, and she does not know what to do. Guide her and give her Your wisdom. Help her to be extra patient with her daughter, that she may win her daughter back one day, with her love and patience. Lord, You know how hard it is not to react in anger. Help this lady to seek You for directions. Let there be forgiveness as well, just as You have forgiven us. Bind this family together in You, Lord, and let not Satan destroy this family. In Jesus' precious Name, Amen

Lord, I pray for this lady give her strength and love in dealing with her daughter. Help her to make wise choices Help her find Christian friends and church to help her learn how to deal with her daughter. Lord, we pray for the daughter. Help her to realize the hurt she is causing help her to realize that she need you in her life help her to find christian friends and a church that can be of a good influence to her. Please we ask that the father also help to lead his daughter in the right direction. Give all 3 peace of mind and spirit and bring them all closer to you Amen.
