   Prayer Requests:
        Pray for me

Dear Brothers and Sister,

I really need prayers, I'm depressed and I need directions as well. I've been working in this company, but i guess my work was never appreciated. I'm still struggling with family bills, children to support, job that I have no idea what will lead me into. My prayer time is going nowhere, I just have this feeling of giving up, from my childhood i've been working hard and to this day i'm still working very hard to meet our ends. I know God will provide and He know's what is best for me. So Lord take away my doubts and give me a fresh feeling of joy and contentment. Assured me that everything will be alright especially with my two boys who is my greatest gift from
you.

Give me direction Lord if I need to change job, but I'm so scared... and help me to build up my self confidence that I can make it in the job industry. Lord guide and protect me for the sake of my children. Give me back the joy and inner peace within. In this I pray in Jesus Mighty Name.

Sandy,

I too have been having a really hard time paying my bills and I also am single with one son. I have the perfect job but sometimes it seems like it isn't enough. Even though we have doubts God will lead us through. Well, I figured a solution to my financial problem---Tithing. 10% of what we make belongs to God. No matter how hard it seems to give 10%, now i know it is not mine, but it belongs to the Lord. We can only trust in him and believe that he will get us out of the situation. Don't give God leftovers. If God is the owner of our hearts then everything belongs to him. I have a an elderly lady that lives next to me. She lives alone. Well, I think of her as my Guest. (Like if it was God I was giving the food to) Everytime I cook something to eat, I serve a plate for her first and I go over to give it to her. I feel that the food I give to her is the food I am giving to God. But, you have to give to God first, before you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. I just finished reading "Peace with God" by Billy Graham. I was reading a section called, A Christian Approach to Labor Management Problems. The Bible says, "Whatever you do, put your whole heart and soul into it, as into work done for God, and not merely for men--knowing that your real reward, a heavenly one, will come from God, since you are actually employed by Christ, and not just by your earthly master. But the slacker and the thief will be judged by God Himself, Who naturally has no distinction to make between master and man. Remember, then your employers, that your responsiblity is to be fair and just towards those whom you employ, never forgetting that you yourselves have a Heavenly Employer" [Colossians 3:22-25] Dr. Grahan goes on to say that the Bible teaches that all honest work is honorable, and the Christian should be the most faithful, the most willing and efficient worker of all.
When you feel that your prayers are not being answered it could be because of your committment. Sometimes God just waits around for you to start following him faithfully. To follow his commands and give accordingly.
Then, he will intercede in your life. You have to make the first move. God is waiting, he loves you, but he wants to make sure you are going to be committed. Committment--to change your life to God's will. Then the Holy Spirit will take complete control. He will heal you, bless you, give you more abudantly and make you complete.

I will be praying for you Sis

Dear Sister in Christ,

May God richly bless you with His abundance. I know how you are feeling and I have been going through a similar struggle, when I asked God what I could do to change my situation, God told me to trust Him. Bills and such are circumstances, God is bigger than your circumstances that can change in a heartbeat. Just trust our Father for each days needs to be met give all circumstances to Him and leave them there in Gods loving arms. This is not easy but ask God to help you do this. God is faithful. Pay your tithes faithfully and believe God can and will meet your every need. God can and God will. God loves us more than we love our own children. Most parents can understand love for a child. So remember how much you love yours and know God loves you and your children even more. A sister in Christ, you will be in my prayers.
