Lord, I lift this lady up to You. Give her Your rich understanding, Your patience, Your love that she may be able to receive her step daughter when she goes over. Give her Your wisdom to know how to reach out to her, that nothing and no one will go between her husband and her.

Lord, help her, too to remove whatever bitterness or anger she may have for the ex wife. Give her the grace to forgive. Help her husband to be understanding as well, and bind this couple together in Your love.
