 Prayer Requests:We Are A Family In Need OF Prayer

| I would like to ask for prayer for my family. I have been praying for us myself, but I think I need the help of others. Our family is suffering major finacial problems now, we have lost our phone & have threats of losing other things, do not know how I will make our house payment next week or our van payment a week later. And our propane tank is also almost empty & needs to be filled soon. Have considered selling my computer & other things we have. But would not get much for any of it. I have started slipping into depression and I do not want to be where I am mentally. I am trying hard to keep my faith & trust in God, please help me pray for the help we need. Thank you! Tracey | |

Tracey, I am praying for you, but I wanted to answer you because I had similar problems with a young family some years ago but overcame it with prayer. Sometimes its a case of 'letting go' of all the fear (easier said than done I know!)and just trusting God to provide all our needs, even when the evidence appears to the contrary - let go of the fear and trust Him. There are several references in the bible, such as the feeding of the 5000 and when Jesus said about the birds - how God feeds them and they never have to worry (sorry I dont have the page/paragraph Nos from the Bible at present, Im in work) but these references can be reassuring and point us in the right direction. |
