I also have been in that same boat, and it is hard.
Father, I lift up this wife to you and ask that you would comfort her in these hard times. Father, show her how to respond to her husbands remarks and attitudes. Lord, I know now that how we respond makes all the difference, but Lord we need your help to be able to do as you wish in circumstances like this. Father, I also lift up the husband to your care and charge, and ask that you would convict his heart of his sin, that he would realize what he is doing to his wife and marriage. Father, I ask that you would show him a better way and lead them both back into a loving and strong relationship with each ther and with you. There is none better than you, lord. NONE

Holy Saint Anthony, gentle and powerful in your help, your love for God and charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were always ready to request for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me the help I need to be patient and trusting, please give me peace. Please let Jim get rid of his inner anger. Give him peace as he now is so critical of everyone and anything. Maybe once he finds and recognizes his lost love for me. Let him come back to me and want and love me even more than he did before. Help me dear Jesus not to take advantage of that love. Getting the new job will give me the strength & power to do just that. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the Saint of miracles. Gentle and loving Saint Anthony, whose heart is ever full of human sympathy, take my petition to the Infant Savior for whom you have such a great love, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.
