You have chosen the right path by asking God back into your life and for forgiveness of your sins. God's forgiveness is immediate and guaranteed for those who seek it. God's forgiveness is final; [Hebrews 8:12] "for I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more". God's forgiveness is uncalculating, He does not keep a ledger on our sins and we know by the Grace of God that our sins will not be brought up again.
As Children of God, we need to forgive as He has forgiven us. We are treading on dangerous water when we bring things up that God has forgotten and forgiven us for. I pray that your wife will have a heart of forgiveness and that she will see God's glory shining through you. I pray that God will remove the anger and darkness in her life and fill your wife with the light of His Spirit. I pray that her forgiveness is abundant, freely without constraint, immediate, final and uncalculating [Eph: 4:32] "and be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christs sake hath forgiven you." Put everything in God's hands, your life, your marriage, your future and your fears. With God at the center of your marriage, you will become the whole persons he wants you to be. I pray that your marriage and love becomes stronger each day. 

I am a woman, I strayed from my previous marriage. I shouldn't have but, I told him for so long that I was unhappy. Because you did what you did doesn't mean you don't love your wife but, there is a problem somewhere & you both need to find the root of the problem & work on fixing whatever is broke. Let her tell you & talk about her anger as much as she needs too. This will help her get past the pain.Love her & let her know you will always love her. Pray & trust in God. Gods will is always to help those who seek him. 1John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." In Luke 15:11 is the story of the lost son. Our Father is like that with us, no matter what.
Lord, I lift up this son to you and your loving care and ask that you would forgive him for walking away from you. Father I know that you have been working on his heart because he has come back just as the lost son. Father I pray that you would work on this marriage, help his wife to be able to forgive him just as you have forgiven him. Lord, it will take a lot of work but I ask that you will encourage them and give them the desire to strengthen their marriage with you at the center. When we keep you Father at the center of all things we will not fail. Surround these children of yours with love and comfort them in the realy hard times that will come. Open their hearts to you each day, that they may grow in strength and widsom. Father I thank you for your unconditional love that allows us to come to you any time with any thing. Thank you father for the healing that is working in their lives. Thank you Lord for being the Lord of our lives, and in control, because we don't always know what is right.
