   Prayer Requests:
        David is hurting & captive

He is trying to escape the hurt of a meaningless life of darkness, first it was music, then sleep and dreams, now soccer and video production, he talked about how money might be the answere, then he talked about dieing and finding rest. He says life hurts and is looking in all the wrong places to escape hurt. Hes heard the massage that Jesus is the answere, but after trying to be a christian, tasting a bit of the Lord, he turned away. I think he couldnt surrender everything, and trying made life even more miserable, till he couldnt take it and left. He is 18, a time when friends mean a lot so pray for godly friends to love and pray for him. Ill be praying for him too, I have for 2 years now, but I need help cause my prayers are not very effective, I lack faith when I pray, but I dont want to see my brother suffer in darkness like this forever.

"... said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" [Mark 9:23-24]

Father, I thank You for Smisa's concern for David. Help us with our little faith, Lord, even as You have answered the boy's father's prayers even though he, too, struggled with faith. Help Smisa not to look at the circumstances around her, but to look up to You, for all things are possible with You. Help her faith to grow.

Bring David to know You, that he may no longer be restless, but find peace in You. Whatever that is hindering him from knowing You, Lord, please remove those obstacles. I pray he will meet godly people who will be able to reach out to him, and draw him to You. Lord, bring him back to You again.

Thank You, In Jesus' Name, Amen.
