   Prayer Requests:
I don't seem have no willpower!

I haven't been studying the Bible for a long while, but do praying. Still not enough for me, please pray for me to get back on the right track on studying the Bible online of myDevotion daily since I'm bedridden. NOT ONLY WHEN I NEED IT! Thanks in advance. I REALLY NEED THE PRAYING WARRIORS!

Merry,

Willpower starts with a decision. Everything we do starts with a decision, whether conscious or unconscious. So, decide now that You want to spend more time in His Word and set aside time. Studies say that a habit is formed when you consistently do the same activity for 21 days. Cultivate that habit. There's going to be resistence but you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Father in Heaven,
I lift up Merry to you and ask that You help bring her out of this dry land. As she seeks to study Your Word, refresh her daily and give her strength to continue.

In Jesus' Name, Amen

Father, I know that there are times in our lives that we seem to loose the will to stay in your word, but praise be to God that you restore us with a real hunger and thirst for your word. Father, this child of yours here has seemed to loose that will and I pray Lord that you would refresh her/his will and increase the joy in her/his heart as she/he gets into your word each day. Psalm 9:9&10 says "The lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you ,for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you." Father I thank you for such comforting words and pray that these words will also comfort and encourage this child who is having a bit of trouble right now. Father if it be your will, I pray that you would bring complete healing to the body as well as the spirit. Father I praise and thank you for the answer that is to come from our many prayers. Father bless this child and keep her/him always in your love. In Jesus holy name AMEN May God richly bless you
