Lord Jesus, somehow I always think that You have a special place for little children. When You were on earth, You made so many references about children, about welcoming them, etc.

Lord for Ryan, I know he holds a special place in Your heart, too. Lord, we may not understand why a child has to suffer such an illness, but I pray You will bring relief to him. Draw him to Yourself. Cause him to be such a spark of life and a joy to those around him, despite his difficulties. Heal him completely Lord, if it is Your will. Give him and his family strength to endure. Bring the family closer to You, too, and let them not lose hope and faith in You. Bring people who would bring messages of encouragement to him and his family.
