 Prayer Requests:Believers' benefit in the healing covenant

| Exodus 15:26
The provision of healing and preservation of health is God's plan for all ages and for every dispensaion. It is contained in the Old Covenant that god made with the chidren of Isreal. It is included in the New Covenant He makes with the Church - the body of Christ. You are (all born again children) a part of the Church if you have turn away from sin and accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. In the covenant that God made with the children of Isreal, He promised to "put none of these disease upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee" God's power to heal remains unchangeable. This fact is reflectedin His healing covenant with the children of Isreal "I am the Lord that healeth thee". Not I was... or "I will be.." Today, God heals through Faith in Christ, through the Blood of Jesus; through His Word and through the operation of the Holy spirit. The fulfillment of the healing covenant is pre-conditioned on (a)diligently hearkening to the voice of God (b) doing that which is right in His sight (c) keeping His commandments, and (d) keeping all His status. Faith alone without corresponding obedience to the commandments of the Lord will not bring us (anybody) that healing and cure which our hearts desire. (Ex.23:22-25, Ps.91:3-10,16, Matt.8:16,17)I hope this piece will help many who are seeking to benefit from God's provisions for His children. |
