   Prayer Requests:
        Pray for possible survivors

Please pray for rescue workers and for possible survivors in New York. It has already been 5 days and we are close to the breaking point of finding new survivors alive.

Pray for protection for survivors. Pray for wisdom and strength for rescue workers.

Father, my heart is burdened tonight that there are others that are still alive. I would pray that you would lead the rescuers to the places they need to go and aid them in uncovering these people. May you receive all the glory. In Jesus' Name, AMEN!!!

Lord, our hearts grieve for those hurt in the attack in US. I know Yours does, too, and even more so because we are Your creation. Your heart grieves to see that humans are able to bring themselves to purposefully cause the deaths of thousands of other innocent humans.

I thank You for the brave souls of the fire fighters and all other rescue workers involved. Lord, be with them. Shield them somehow from the horrors that they see as they shift through the rubble. Give them Your strength, O Lord. Bless them richly for their self-sacrificial acts.

Lord, it has been so many days now. If there are survivors, Lord, please direct the rescue workers to them. Help them to be able to detect signs of life and draw them out of the rubble alive. We need You, O Lord. Miracles do happen.

Father, we may not understand at all why all these things are happening, but we continue to trust in You, and hope in You, for we know that these things are not from You. Pour Your healing spirit over America, pour your comforting spirit over those who grieve.

Thank You, Lord, that in all these evil we see, we see good arising out of the hearts of America - volunteers, donations, support, etc.

Thank YOu for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Our loving God, we come before you knowing that you care for each of the individuals that are involved in this tragedy. You know the good that you want to come from this evil. We thank you for being in charge and ask that you put peace in our hearts and help us to take our anxieties and put them in your hands where they belong.

Father, be the mighty physician that you are to each of those that may be buried in that rubble. Give them faith and courage to hang on.

Help each of those who are in hospitals to heal quickly. Be with them especially at night when the dreams have got to be a tough area to work through. Help them deal with the guilt that often comes as they are faced with the deaths of those they were close to. Help them to praise you even when it is impossible for us to understand.

Be with the families that are dealing with this so up close. Comfort them and encourage them. Place people in their lives that will be helpful in getting through this nightmare. Guard people's mouths as they attempt to be helpful. Give them words that will ease the pain, let them be comfortable with silence, give them wisdom to know when to be available to listen and when to give them space.

Be with each of those who are giving their lives to help in the rescue efforts. Protect their minds from the horror they are faced with. Give them the wisdom and knowledge they need to accomplish the task before them.

Continue working with the world leaders that they would be filled with integrity, be wise and just in the decisions they are faced with. Father, touch those who came up with this idea to be brought to their knees, to be willing to come forth that no more damage has to take place.

Thank you God for being available for us to ask questions, to plead for help, to beg for forgiveness, to seek you to be our God. In Jesus' Name, AMEN!!!
