Prayer Requests:
our country, family


Dear Lord Jesus, I would like to take a moment and pray for all the people that went through that horrid nightmare at the World Trade Center. I pray for all the victims that died as a result of this disaster. That the Lord may receive each of their souls into paradise. I pray for the families that are suffering from the loss of a loved one. This is a terrible thing, and I pray that somehow the Lord with comfort each and every person. I can't even imagine the pain that people are enduring. After witnessing such a catastrophe, I feel that my problems mean nothing and the daily stresses I go through mean nothing compared to things that have happened. I pray for our country and for the muslims. We should not judge the whole race and islam faith because of certain evil individuals. and I say all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our savior, and our light of the world. Amen. Dear Lord Jesus, I would like to pray for a personal problem in my life. Almost 10 years ago, my father lost his job after working with a company 16 years. Ever since then, their lives went completely down the hill. They lost their home, all their material things, their self-esteem, and most importantly their indepedence. They are now in their late 50's. My husband and I took the responsibility of helping them financially. They have not been able to support themselves on their own. This situation has made my mom a very depressed and bitter person. She cries a lot because she desires to have her own home and independence again. She hates living with us despite all the help we have given them. They feel that they are a burden to us. Despite everything, I am praying to the Lord Jesus, that somehow they will be able to live on their own again. That they may be blessed with the opportunities they need to make it. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Dear Lord Jesus, I pray for my husband. I pray that he will not be layed off. If it's God's will and he does get laid off, I pray that he will find one quickly and better than his last one. I also pray for all the people that are being layed off at this time, and those that will be in the future. This is very difficult for many families and creates lots of tension and problems. Lord, it is so true that after what the people went through at the WTC, our problems seem more insignificant. Yet, You care for all our needs, big and small. "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered." [Matthew 10:30] Father, I lift up Monica to You. Bless Monica and her husband for taking her parents in to care for them all these years. Father, You know the situation Monica is in, You see the difficulties and the struggles. Give Monica Your strength, Your wisdom, Your patience and Your continuous love. Provide Monica's parents with the means to be able to live independently. Help her mum to find her circle of Christian friends who would be able to help her out of her depression. Harden not her heart, but draw her to You, and cause her to know that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Help Monica's parents to find their self-esteem in You. Father, work in this family, I pray. In Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.

Monica, Do not focus on your fears or on what happened in the past. Release faith in your life by positive confession and start thanking God for provision for your parents and your husband even before you see them. Believe in God's promises first and then you will see things unfolding in your life. God called things into being with His Words. His Words is powerful and we stand on His Words. Let me pray for you. Father in Heaven, I thank You for the abundant life that You have promised us. I thank You for the abundant life that You have promised Monica's parents and her husband. I thank You for Your financial provision over their lives. I pray that You will give them wisdom how to live this abundant life and thank You Lord that You desire to give us richly all things to enjoy. I place Monica's husband and parents and monica herself into Your loving hands. In You, we trust, In Jesus' Name, Amen.
